Sophie Giet is a ceramist, sculptor and a restorer. She creates functional sculptures in ceramic based on her figurative background. She holds a special relationship with shape and function in all her creations.Sophie finds her inspiration in pop culture, songs, expressions and modern new topics. Sophie was born and grew in Ivory Coast until moving to Belgium, Liège, when she was a teenager. She’s considering herself now as a real Liégeoise.
